Lone Wolf Schools

Went to Lone Wolf Schools last week and shared with the elementary students a little bit about the art of taxidermy.  I did not know what to expect going there but I have to admit it was a hoot.  I took some mounts for them to see.  I also brought some glass eyes, earliners, mannikin and a tanned hide along.  They loved it when I put the skin over the mannikin to show them how it works.  When it came time for questions they sure had some to ask.  Believe it or not they were all pretty much good questions.  After it was all said and done I am glad I went and I hope that maybe an impression was made on some young students about taxidermy and the outdoors.
